The Rock of Hraběcí stolek

The rock of Hraběcí stolek is the name of a rock in the Dubovice forest between Vír and Bolešín, which is known as a perfect lookout point on a place, where a wooden lookout tower stood until 1930. It was built in 1903 by Count František Coudenhove-Honrische of Kunštát. The place is exceptional not only with a beautiful view of the valley, but also with a beautiful forest of pines, oaks, beeches and hornbeams growing on the steep rubble slopes from the quay. On the rocky slopes around the Count's table, a colorful mosaic of natural and original acid oak groves with hornbeam and relict pine forests has been preserved.
